how do you delete?

Hi,
Finally managed to get a cable that is working great with my nokia 6100. I
have been downloading some family pics to my phone but the problem now is
'vodafone uk' seems to always go straight through everyone's head. Is it
possible to delete this?

No you can't delete 'vodafone uk', but what you can do is re-trim the
pictures so the heads are clear of the 'vodafone uk' message.

I thought you could change the operator logo? Vodafone is the op. logo
right?...as such can it not be changed or removed?

Hi
My suggestion is: make an operator logo with software (dont know wich
software, i know it exists for 3210's and 5110 type of phones) with
somewhere in the corner 1 pixel. then dl it on your phone and make it the
operator logo for vodaphone

You need to upload a blank operator logo to the phone.

Thanks for your suggestion all, particularly to you Richard. I am please to
tell you that the MS 620 IR problems I was having have been sorted. I
formatted and did a fresh install and it works fine now. I guess you must
have been right when you suggested it was a corrupt file somewhere. I
haven't figured out what caused the corruption yet, maybe a WinXP OS update.
Couple of questions RIchard to you if I may:
1. I recal that you are running WinXP as your OS. IS it pro and are you
fully patched via the update site?
2. Will the handset manager software upload the blank Op. logo to the phone
or will I need something like nokia PC suite?.

2 running XP pro & 1 running XP home. All fully up to date via Windows
update.

Never used it for a Nokia phone myself, I downloaded my blank Op logo via
WAP. Alternatively I'd suggest Logomanager or MobiMB.

I used to use http://www.tampere.as/logo2/imgwap/d...id=8&tyyppi=12
to get a blank operator logo, but it doesn't seem to work any more
(plus it was a handful to type in!).
So I found this site http://wap.mob453.com which has a link to a blank
operator logo which worked fine for me (plus short url!!)
