Does anyone know of any software which will retrieve ringtones
previously uploaded to my 6210 so that I can then upload them to my new
handset?

I think Logomanager has an "upload from phone" option/button, but i can't
remember if it was for operator logos or ringtones (or both!). Download the
trial version from www.logomanager.co.uk and have a try. Obviously you'll
need some way of connecting your phone to your computer (infrared or cable).

As far as I am aware, it is not possible to access the ringtones of
older phones such as the 6210. Ringtones can only be 'overwritten' on
these phones, by software such as LogoManager. They can not be deleted
or transferred to the PC.
With newer phones, it is possible to access the ringtones, transfer to
PC, delete etc as Nokia changed the memory structure, and software
such as MobiMB from the writers of LogoManager can access them.
So, I am unsure how you would go about transferring ringtones from an
older phone to a newer phone. I would probably try to find the
ringtones you like, on the internet from free sites such as:
http://www.mobile.wizkids.co.uk/
and then use LogoManager or MobiMB (depending if you will be getting a
non-polyphonic, or polyphonic phone) to transfer them to the newer
model.

Thanks for the reply Chris. I have Logomanager but it does only work for
logos and not ringtones.
I'll keep searching!
Cheers,
Julian

Re: Retrieving ringtones from 6210
Thanks Hawker. I have Logomanager but I'll see if I can get a trial version
of MobiMB to try out.
Fail in that, as you say, I'll have to search to see if I can find the
ringtones again. They've disappeared from their original site which is a
shame as they were of particularly good quality.
Cheers anyway,
Julian
