    Guys I have a t-mobile nokia 6610. I tried using another sim card with the
    phone but I got a message saying "Phone restricted, enter restriction
    code"

    any ideas

    You have to change your phones security level to be able to use more than
    one sim.Go to settings->security menu->security level and change it to
    NONE.You need 5 digit security code which is by default 12345 if you
    haven't change it.

    Adding to my own post.You can keep security level on but then you have to
    enter that 5 digit security code everytime you change your sim card and if
    your security code is still 12345 it's good idea to change it.

    *Wrong*! The phone is SIM locked to T-Mobile. Until the handset is
    unlocked you can only use T-Mobile SIMs in that handset.

    Oops i did not think about that because here in Finland you can't sell
    phones that are locked in single service providers network.I can put any
    simcard from any operator in to my phone.Currently i have two sim's from
    two different operators.

    It needs unlocking do a search for a dct4 calculator and you can find your
    restriction code from that .
