Thank you Richard for helpful info and advice much appreciated.
Yes am in UK
Used "txt spk" to save space :-(
The reason I ask what to do with cable is because I am new to all stuff to do with phones
and want to learn and embrace the technology avail.
also would like to unlock phone potential so can help/advise my 2 young adult children
who are not so willing to embrace technology.
Thank you again for help/advice

1. Please drop the "txt-spk" rubbish, it's incredibly childish and doesn't
make your post that easy to follow.
2. Welcome to the group :-)
3. Assuming you're in the UK (which you appear to be from your post
headers), all the online retailers should sell 3310 F/Mbus cables for about
a tenner, as should most independent phone shops.
4. If you don't know what you're going to do with it, why do you need a
cable?
5. Take a look at http://www.logomanager.co.uk which is probably the best
option for cutomising a DCT3 handset. There are other options, have a look
at the UselessInfo site in my sig for a couple more ideas.

Not a problem.

Never mind, some of us have to be.

No need for newsgroups really. You want to be aiming for the most people
possible to read your post, so stick with plain English.

On your 3310, the best thing you can do with it is convert it into a 3315.
See if you can find an old bit of software called PClocals and change
product profile bit 30 (I think). That'll give you auto keylock, a graphics
editor and a couple of other bits and pieces. As for other customisation,
Logo's and ringtones can bothe be modified - take a look at Logomanager
which is probably your best bet and very reasonably priced.

See above.

Anytime. Just one more bit of advice though, please post at the bottom and
trim the context if necessary. It doesn't seem too important in here, but
many groups look very dimly on top-posters.
