    Hi,
Has anyone got their 6600 talking to the PC via bluetooth? I've just
got a Belkin F8T001 USB adapter. Having real problems with signal
strength even whe the 6600 is next to the adapter. It keeps loosing
    connection too.
I spoke to Belkin they say they are aware of the problem. Just
downloaded new versions of their software and the latest PC Suite.
If anyone has got theirs working can u post the adapter type/model.

    TIA

I've got a belkin Bluetooth dongle yesterday and it's now working fine!

Initially it kept disconnecting after a couple of minutes but after about 3
restarts it seemed to fix itself. I always get an error message saying that
it has failed to connect the serial port and that it needs to use COM 0
(which I do not have!) but it connects just fine to COM 4.

    Keep trying!

I have a Belkin dongle as well and although it was a complete pain in the
butt when using the 7650, I find I have no problems what so ever with the
    6600 over Bluetooth.

    belkin
I had similar problems downloaded the connecting Nokia 3650 from
www.belkin.com and followed that allowing for differences on the 6600.
I also had big problems getting mrouter to work kept getting error messages,
finally found mcafee firewall caused it.
Solution was to disconnect from internet and shutdown firewall everything
    worked fine.

    Re: bluetooth 6600

    Andreas,

The problem you are experiencing is NOT with the BT200 (Jabra), but with the
    6600.

I have a similar experience. Jabra BT200 with the 6310i, or the 3650, works
fine. About 2.50 hours talk time, and about 14 hours standby.

When I got my 6600 and used the Jab BT200, I found that I was getting an "in
use" standby of about 4 hours, and a talktime of about 15 minutes!!
(honest - I even checked the timings with my call log on the phone).

I communicated with Jabra, and they sent me a press release, stating that
there IS a known fault with the 6600 not going into "sniff" mode (standby
mode) on the Bluetooth channel. This equates to the Bluetooth channel being
left "open", even when one is not engaged in a call.

I then contacted Nokia, and they said there IS a known problem, and this
affectecs ALL bluetooth heasets, across the board. INCLUDING Nokia's own
    brand!

"Apparently" the little Finnish guys, who sit in their R & D unit, somewhere
in Finland, are trying to resolve this issue. WHEN that will happen????, who
    knows.

Should you want any further information, let me know or contact Jabra
    direct, or even Nokia.

    Cheers
