8310 Problem

My sister dropped her Nokia 8310 mobile, but there is now a problem with it,
when someone phones her, they can hear how but she cannot hear them.
everything else works fine, i.e messages etc.

what could the problem be with it.

microphone loose ? tighten the screws at the bottom of the phone....

maybe the loudspeaker has broken??

When I dropped mine, no one could hear me, but I could still hear them. I
cracked the chassis of the phone where it all screws together and the
circuit board being on one side and the microphone the other - they parted
company. I imagine similar has happened with your sisters, except in this
case the speaker and circuit board have parted company. Take off the
removable covers and see if there's a gap between the chassis and circuit
board.
