I knew you could connect to the internet on the PC via the phone but
didn't know you could do it the other way round too.

Very interesting, all I need now is a 6600!!

    Thanks

Re: 6600 to Internet via "Bluetooth to PC Connection"

    Another slight variation to this.

It seems you have to go to your pc, and choose "connect to serial port" and
    establish a connection first.

Is there any chance that when I come home, and I'm in range of my Belkin
Bluetooth adaptor, the computer and/or the phone would just say "hello -nice
to have you back - lets connect!!"

...or at least so you can initiate the connection from the phone rather than
    the pc.

The 6600 does seem to have a sync option in the Connection menu, but it asks
for IP address, port, username and password.

    ?

Re: 6600 to Internet via "Bluetooth to PC Connection"

and pc suite, and mrouter working correctly, and bluetooth configured
correctly...and telling your firewall leave that mrouter the friggin
alone...and bluetooth telling ya its not connected then it is without
    telling ya...

it aint easy as it seems....

but once your settings r done, all is easy after that...

    cheers
