I Have a Nokia 3410 and a wap site with o2.

Is it possible to up load suitable files from my pc to the wap site and then
down load as ring tones and images? if so what format would I upload the
file in .wav and .bmp?

If this is possible how come companies charge what seems an extortionate
amount for tones and images - and presumably this reasoning extends to
games?
