QUESTION Re. Data transfer via infra red

I have a 3200 and have been trying to transfer ringtones and graphics to a
friend's 7210i via the IR port. The instuction manual gives examples of what
can be sent (business cards, calendar items) but does not imply that these
are the ONLY things which can be sent. In "Tones" and "graphics" the option
is there to send via IR
Someone else must have tried this besides me.

ANY help appreciated.

Hi, I have tried this too, cannot send either tones or pictures via irda to
6100, can send tones to another 3200 but no piccies, can send both to sagem,
strange eh, anyone else got any ideas, I know the 3200 supports 16
simultaneous tones where the 6100 and 7250 only support 4.

Hello!

That unfortunately cannot be done with Nokia phones. You only are able to
load data from one phone to PC and upload it to another phone. Of course you
will need the program for data synchronization. You are able to try our
Oxygen Phone Manager II program for it. The free trial version can be found
here www.opm-2.com
