Hi @ all!
I'm using a Cark 91 with my Nokia 6310i. Is it possible to switch the light
control of the 6310i with the car lights? I drive an VW Passat and all the
interiors lights (radio, switches) are enabled when the car lights are
enabled too. Only the mobiles display is always on.
The automatic of the handy i don't wanna use, because at night i want see
the information every time.
Which newers phones by nokia are compatible with the Cark 91?
Greetings from Germany, Thomas
PS: sorry for my english, but my home language is german.

No, this is not possible, you can only set the lights to be either on all
the time or to go off after a few seconds.

None, the 6310i is the last phone to use this kit.

Though you can get a converter to turn the cark-91 into a Bluetooth
kit, made by LinTech IIRC.

Re: Cark 91
I don't know how well this will help you with a 6310, but someone
has replaced LED's in another phone. Here is an example.
Sounds really tough.

Re: Cark 91
Thats nothing to do with what he asked .. and its not that uncommon either
...
he wanted to change it so the phone's lights would come on or off with his
car lights in the car kit ..
