If you don't have voice mail as an alternate call termination, the only
thing a caller will hear when your handset fails to respond to a network
page is a recording, "The cellular customer you have called has turned
their unit off or driven beyond the service area. Please try again
later." (close enough)
I wonder how critical that call was.
