dku-5 cable problems

HI ,
I have nokia 3100
and bought cable dku-5 not nokia original at www.cellphoneshop.net
in very cheap price (25$)
any way after beryl installing the driver (was not that easy)
most of the time I plug the cable it works ok
lately I installed nokia pc suit , and it works just fine
day after when i tried to connect the cable
i got all the time the message on the phone
"enhancement not support"

is the cable is not good ? or is there some other reason ?
please help me
