Car Kit Problems

Have a Nokia 6340i Phone for which I have purchased and installed the Car
Kit complete with auxiliary handset. Everything works fine except the
handset. According to the manual whenever the handset is lifted off hanger
the hands free should be disabled and the hand set should be enabled. If I
connect the handset to the main box all conversations are routed to the
handset all of the time. I have checked all the settings in the phone and
can not find a "car" setting. Currently using hands free mode all the time
but this is annoying. Any suggestions?

Look for the car settings whilst you have the handset cradled in the car.
