Data cable or IR?

I just bought a 6560. I'm either going to get an IRDA adapter, or the
DKU-5 datacable. Does anybody have any opinion on which they think is the
better route to go? I have Win2k, and will either use Oxygen Phone Manager
II, or MobiMB.

I'd buy the IR- when you get your next phone, you won't need yet
another proprietary cable! Or, as the folks at Mastercard might say:

IR dongle for PC, $25.

Not having to have two PDA cradles and two cellphone data cables
laying on my desk, Priceless...
