According to the tutorial at nokia.com, my 3410 should be able to
    display a "full-screen date and time screen-saver", but I can't find how
to do that. Anyone, please ?

That only activates the currently selected screen-saver. By coincidence
I found out that there are 22 different options after "Screen-saver" ->
"Normal", one of which is the digital clock. Thanks anyway.

GREAT! That helped a lot. Anyways, make sure you use the up and down
arrows to see all the "Normal" screen savers (this is a weird feature,
    I have to say).

    Have a good one!
