Can anyone help me with a configuration problem. I am trying to sync the
phonebook on my 6310i with Outlook 2000 in a Exchange Server environment.
When I run Sync it fails with the message ' Unable to open Outlook. The
supplied password may be incorrect'. This message appears even though I have
    Outlook open on the desktop

I think this is something to the paths to the folders being sync'd. I am
using Exchange Server so the mailbox paths appear - in Outlook - as
[Mailbox - user name]\folder name. The default paths in PC Suite are in the
form Personal Folders\folder name. When I click on the search button nothing
happens so I have to type the folder path in directly. Typing in Mailbox -
user name\contacts doesn't work not does every variant I've tried.

Can anyone tell me how these paths should be entered - or have another
explanation for the failure here? The Nokia help doesn't.

    Thanks

    Paul

Re: PC Suite 4.88 sync with Outlook/Exchange Server

    Paul,

I have the same configuration and problems.

The sync used to work when my laptop was docked and attached to the
company server. Offline, I had the same problem as you do. I tried to
fix the offline sync, with as a result it does no longer syncs when
    docked ...

I have tried reinstalling PC sync 4.88 with no result. PC sync does no
longer allow me to browse through the outlook folder and select eg.
    calendar.

I have now asked our MIS guys to give me the Path for the Outlook
Calendar ... but according to you this is not going to help either.

So, not much help to you, but if you have further info for a solution I
would off course be interested ..

    Danny
