    Hi group,

I'm hoping this is the right place to post this, had a look thru F9's
newsgroup list and this and uk.telecom.mobile seemed the best choices...
please advise otherwise if I'm wrong!

I'm after a chip for a n6210. It's a tiny silver coloured chip, marked only
"NF 046", and lives underneath the internal aerial, just next to the
external aerial connector, and just down from the iR LEDs. I have no idea
what it does, but mine is no longer soldered to the board and is missing
some of its pins, so I need a new one.

A Google search didn't return anything of any real use, and my local Nokia
service centre isn't really interested - "gonna be cheaper to buy a new
phone". But, I don't want a new phone, I want this one to work!

So hopefully someone here can help. I can pay by cheque, bank transfer or
PayPal (preferred option). If the price is right, I may consider buying a
faulty 6210 that I can strip for parts, depending on the fault. I'm in the
    UK.

    Thanks in advance,
    Dave

Hate to say it, but it almost certainly will be easier, if not cheaper to
replace the phone. Have you thought of a 6310i..?
