HELP about NOKIA please

Just got 6510 when I enter warranty code in it *#92702683# my phone instead
of showing me IMEI , software versio date of manufacturing etc just showes
me all 0000 for everything
Why is that
+ what is meaning of Flashing phone why to do that

Would be great if u could explain what u want to do more clearly.

1. TO check IMEI number is *#06#
2. SW version is *#0000#

Some 3rd party flashes (esp for 3310) DO mess up the display of the IMEI in
*#war0anty#.

*#war0anty# code can show you IMEI SW version + date of buyin and date of
manufacturing transfer data ready so for every of that stuff on my phone all
numbers R zerros instead of dates and SW versions IMEI No etc.

OK flashing the phone why to do that in what ocassions U must do that
