dongle - i notice ppl on ebay are advertising class 1, 2 etc and different
    speeds and whatnot!

As far as I know, the 6230 supports Bluetooth standards v1.0 and v1.1, that
is most data and sound profiles.

The 6230 uses combination keys type of pairing instead of unit keys pairing.
Some older devices or drivers don't support combination keys or may require
    a driver update.

I recommended you check the official Bluetooth site for more information:

    http://qualweb.bluetooth.org/Templa...alifiedProducts

Search for " 6230 " and then click the (i) button.

I don't know about speed, but the Class 1, Class 2 refer to the power of the
Bluetooth device. Class 1 has a range of up to 100m in free air, Class 2
range is up to 10m. The phone will be Class 2 so there is no need for a
Class 1 dongle if you are only going to use it with the phone.
