    Hi,

Was wondering how tough the 6230 is if you happen to drop it, say on a road
from your pocket or something? Because from experience, a 7210 screen is
very easily broken... but a thirdhand 5110 can be dropped many times without
any problem (so far..in my case..hehe)... and a 5210 is of course protected
    by its rubberised casing..

in short: Just need to know whether I should take really good care of as if
it was a "tiny, volatile bomb" or should I just have a "don't really bother"
    attitude if I buy a 6230?

    Re: Quality [toughness] of 6230

    I don't practice phone-dropping (I drop phones very seldom, indeed), and I
never dropped my new 6230. However I must say that it looks more fragile
than the other phones I had before, and I suspect that if you drop it on the
road, it will get at least some scratches. The display plastic cover is not
protected (i.e. the screen is not recessed into the phone's body, etc...),
so I presume it will easily scratch. Mine got some scratches even when I
once tried to fit the phone sliding it into a plastic cover which had some
    dust inside...
Being used to the 3330 with optional lithium battery istalled, the
impression that the phone gives me in my hands is that it is compact (it
weights slightly more than its size would suggest to me), and maybe this is
what makes me believe that it may broke if badly dropped.
However as you will know one good thing is that the covers are
interchangeable, so you can easily have a brand-new looking phone back again
(by spending some money of course) whenever you want. Another good thing is
that on the other side, as you remove the covers, the phone's main chassis
does look tough. I cannot pronounce myself on how strong is the display
glass of course, but i guess is no different from that of any other phone.
