UNLOCK 3110 (AUSTRIAN T-MOBILE) - PLEASE HELP

Hi guys,

I have the following NOKIA 3110 and it is locked so that only T-MOBILE Cards
are accepted - however I want to change provider and require the unlock code
for it. Does anyone have the adequate software or know where I can download
such software?

Try the following unlock code
#pw+117174541503174+1#
If that doesn't work, this one will
#pw+972152403063356+7#

Hi Mac,

I tried entering both codes but the device would not let me enter the last
"#" after the numbers. I had the same problem with both numbers. I noticed
that I couldnt type in the "#" at all as soon as the "#pw+" were typed in.
Dunno if this tells you anything but I'm hoping someone knows what the
problem is...

The problem is that the codes supplied were for a DCT4 handset, so they
won't work on yours. Can't remember the last time I even saw a 3110, but I
*believe* it's DCT2, so I think you'll be stuck with using a cable unlock
solution.

Bummer, I was trying to avoid the h/w solution seeing that they charge 20
Euros for it here (dont necessarily want to invest more money into this
"antique" ;0)
