    What kind of MIDI files can I use as Nokia 6610 ringtones?

    I have a bunch of MIDI files, but I can't play them on 6610. Is there some
    kind of converter to ajdust these MIDI so I can play them on 6610?

    The 6610 takes midi files of polyphony level 4, sizes of around 10 kb
    and less, and with instruments the phone can recognise.

    The easiest way to convert a midi file to play on the phone is to use
    PolyPhonix, the only software written specifically with Nokia phones
    in mind, allowing you to connect directly with the phone and use the
    inbuilt phone profiles of the software for the instant editing of the
    files to match your model. I find it great- especially as I use the
    vibration of my phone as an instrument! Check it out at

    Can I save MIDI file to Nokia 6600 and then send it to friends 6610 via IR
    port?

    On my 7650 i can send MIDI via IR or Bluetooth, the 6600 uses the same
    OS so you should be able to
