All depends if you want cables going to the phone or not. Wired headsets
are cheap, Bluetooth wireless headsets are naturally more expensive.

Now I didn't want a long dangly tangle prone cable going into my pants
pocket, so I went for the Bluetooth option in the form of a SE HBH-200 on
    my 6310i.

I just had one of these http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/2301.htm
delivered yesterday afternoon. It's comfortable and very discreet,
battery charged ok, the phone and the 6600 found each other in just a
few secs for the set up. Sound quality seems good'ish. Can't say much
more as I haven't had it long enough. Seems good though.

    HDW-2

Great with phone attached to dashboard, real naff if phone attached to belt.

I heard with the Jabra that while your using that - the phone does NOT ring. Is
    that so with yours?

yes BT does not rings and the communcations channels will be not closed so,
the phone has a never ending connection to BT !!
After 2-3 hours is BT totaly empty. This is a bug in the Nokia SW and not
    fixed yet.

Yes, the phone itself doesn't ring, which I like personally. The
headset's doing well BTW - I've been using it over a week now and have
no problems at all. I recommend it.

I've had no problems with power like you mention.

*shrug* Maybe different software or something.

Nope, it's something else I've had over a week. I've had the Jabra
less, but anyway - still the same, I've had no problems with it (yet).

    :-)

I have not found this to be an issue with the HDW-2, you can hear it shut
    off.

The Jabra is the same, after a few secs you can just hear it go back
into standby. I've actually had the Jabra connected to the 6600 all
day today as an experiment, have spoken on it for 5-10 mins, and just
left it on the rest of the time. The 6600 is still showing full charge
and the Jabra is not flashing a low battery warning or anything, and
still sounds as clear as a bell (ok a bluetooth bell, but BYKWIM :-)

Re: What headsets are Nokia 6600 owners using?

With my 3650, I used a Jabra wired headset (£10 - Tescos). The only issue
with this was that the phone didn't ring with the headset plugged in.

So, I also got a Jabra BT200 bluetooth one. Works fine, but in practice
unless you are going to charge it up in the car, it will go flat whilst you
are waiting for a call. If it's not on/linked when a call comes in, then you
have to answer using the phone - not legal whilst driving.

So - I got a 6600. tried the BT200, same issue as above, all very nice,
comfortable, works as advertised, etc, but a bit crap in practice.

I now use my trusty old £10 Jabra wired headset in the car - the 6600 will
ring with a headset plugged in, just base the headset profile on the
'outdoor' profile, so the ringing is loud enough to be heard in the car. All
you have to do is invent a foolproof method of laying out the cable so you
can pick up the ear bit and stick it in your lug without causing an
    accident.......

I use the Jabra 250 and it's fine, charge last's me roughly a week in
