    Hi,

A question for an Oxygen Phone Manager expert !

the voice recorder component seems to allow to load wav file to the the
phone (6310i) but which wav format ? I have tried to create a GSM 6.10
encoded wav but OPM doesn't want my file.

which tool is certified to create OPM compatible wav file ?

    TIA

    Thank you for your info!

As per our information, GSM 6.10 is usually enough for WAV encoding.
Sometimes, program may not accept WAV files of big size.

If you will have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

    Thank you for your info!

Unfortunately, there is no known rule whether a WAV file will be
accepted by the phone. There are many restrictions applied by Nokia.
We can only say that a recording, downloaded from the phone should
    write back to the phone.
It seems, that Nokia uses its own codec for WAVs, therefore some
third-party codecs may not do the job immediately, but after several
    tries only.

If you will have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

I have found the information with google, it was published on a french
    ng some times ago
    http://groups.google.fr/groups?hl=fr...roup.fr&rnum=1

until now all my transfers were successfull but of course there is a 2mn
    limit

in a few words the trick is to use winamp, go to preferences, plug-ins,
output, Nullsoft Disk Writer, configure, check convert to format, and
    select gsm 6.10 but 11,025 KHz;Mono 2kbits/s

from time to time Oxygen has difficulties to add a new wav to existing
ones in the phone (6310i) but in this case the fix is to remove and
resend all waves to phone, it's very quick as 2mn is arround 200 Kb only
and incredibily much easier than with the nokia pc suite
