The phone arrived with a bunch of previously configured profiles. I'd
like to nuke them. Doing a factory reset does not delete them.

How else can this be done?

    TIA, Andy

Go through them and change all the settings back to how you want it.

Only way it can be done.

You don't say what phone but every one I've ever used has a number of
pre-configured profiles. A factory reset will simply put them back.

You can either change the settings to ones you're happy with or
refrain from using the profiles you don't want.

Thanks, no biggie, but in principle one should be able to reset this. A
    factory reset does not... :-(

But again, no biggie, I did as wall instructed, went through each one
and cleared its settings, so all is fine.

    Cheers, Andy
