7600 USB connectivity

I have installed cable drivers, checked device manager (everything installed
correctly), I have installed Nokia PC Suite 5, both from the CD-ROM supplied
with the phone.
Everything looks fine until I connect the phone. The message "Data
Enhancement Connected" appears briefly on the phone, but Connection Manager
reports that no phone is present.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled both drivers and PC Suite numerous times,
but the phone never shows in Connection Manager. My OS is Windows XP.
Has anyone had the same problem, and if so is there any remedy?

Several times Try uninstalling and installing again, worked for me twice.
Also make sure you always use the same USB port on the PC to connect, I've
found that has screwed up the connection at least once, probably both times.
