Anyone out there had a chance to play with one yet? I just read about it on
the business section of Nokia's site...I'll be shopping for a new phone in
January (I have a 3650 now) and this one looks like it has all I need. Maybe
there's a beta tester among us?

I'm not a beta tester, but I got a quick preview of the 9500 while visiting
Nokia in the spring. The 9500 felt good instantly. The UI is about the same
as with the 9210i, but with some enhancements. EDGE and WLAN connections
felt quite fast, and the Opera web browser is fantastic with the 640 x 200
pixels screen of the 9500.
However, it still weighs over 220 grams and is quite large when compared to
any handheld device. Then again keys of the QWERTY keyboard are a bit closer
together and smaller than in the 9200 series.
If you liked the earlier models, you will love this one. There are
interesting competitors coming too, such as the Motorola Mpx.
