I am having issues carrying out the first synchronisation on a nokia
6310i to the Nokia PC phone suite (v4.88) over the widcomm when the
installation has been carried out by a different individual.

After installation and configuration of the Nokia PC suite for use
with bluetooth. If I then continue with a synchronisation all is fine
but when another user logs on to the machine after installation and
trys to synchronise a message is returned saying the phone is not
    connected.

Does anyone know of any issues with profiles/priveleges and
    syncronsing the nokia 6310i/6310?

    Cheers
    Mel

It might have something to do with the 'pairing' that is necessary for use
    of bluetooth.
It's not unlikely that the pairing pairs your phone to a user on your
computer, not to the computer itself.

I would try pairing the phone to the other user (this is part of the
bluetooth software, not the Nokia PC suite), and then try to sync. again.

    good luck

You should upgrade your Nokia 6310i firmware at least up to version
5.50: after this special service, named 'Nokia PC Suite' will appear,
after you will discover the phone in 'My bluetooth places' folder.
Also you cannot use bluetooth in common Nokia 6310 for data
synchronization, as it doesn't have such client service.

We can also suggest to have a look at our trial version of Oxygen
Phone Manager II ( http://www.opm-2.com/ )- very powerful
muti-functional program, which, also, supports bluetoth connection for
Nokia 6310i with firmware version 5.50 and higher.

If you will have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact us.
