All,
I've just upgraded my mobile phone to a Nokia 6230 from a Nokia 6310i. I've
got a Nokie CARK-112 Bluetooth car kit that I would like to use with my
6230, but I have lost the passcode. Does anyone know of a default passcode,
or a passcode that will get me connected? I have still got my 6310i, which
is still paired with the car kit, so if anyone know's how to get the code
off the 6310i then that would be really helpful.
Thanks in advance

Re: CARK-112 Bluetooth Car Kit
I am in the same position with a BT headset HDW-2. My daughter ripped away
the label with the passcode from the headset's manual, and after upgrading
from 6310 to 6230 I cannot use the headset, which is still paired tough with
the old phone. What can I do?
TIA

Re: CARK-112 Bluetooth Car Kit
Apprently, from what I have been reading there is a code underneath the
battery. Give that a try?
Any thoughts on the car kit issue?

Re: CARK-112 Bluetooth Car Kit
AMAZING. It worked!!! No idea about the car kit, sorry. I was planning to
buy a bluetooth enabled one, but had not got the chance yet. Have you
"looked under the baterry" yourself? I assume yes. Is the car kit passcode
factory encoded or you have changed it?
THANKS A MILLION!

Re: CARK-112 Bluetooth Car Kit
The car kit is factory encoded. The code was on a sticker, stuck onto the
box and it would appear the box has been thrown away. There must be a
default code or something out there somewhere. Someone please help?

Re: CARK-112 Bluetooth Car Kit
I know you already tried this, but I wonder why Nokia would print factory
encoded headset's passcode underneath baterry but not in a similar place for
the car kit you have. This seems to be not very nice for them. Have you
tried to explain this to a Nokia service? I would expect them to have their
ways....

Try the last 4 digits of the CARK-112 Serial Number.

If you look at the bottom of the HFW-1 unit you will see a silver
label.
On that label there are two barcodes, below the second barcode you
will find a 9 digit number.
The bluetooth passcode for the unit is the last four digits.
