I want to update my Nokia's 6650 firmware at home.

What kind of material (cables. etc.) do I need ?

Can I find them on eBay ?

Why do you want to do it at home..?

Yes, you can get cables and software on eBay among other places, but the
cheap stuff is notoriously unreliable and could render your phone
unusable. To *reliably* and *safely* upgrade firmware, you need a hardware
solution such as a Twister or Griffin box, which will cost you in the
region of 200 pounds (UK). Not a cost effective method for upgrading a
    single phone.

Take it to a Nokia Service Centre and get them to do it.

Good for you, it's nice to meet people with initiative.

Depends how much you want to spend and if you want your phone to actually
work after you've flashed it. If you want to spend as little as possible
(and stand a bloody good chance of borking your phone) you could buy a cheap
"China" flasher dongle for about £35. If you want to do the job right
you'll need Twister, Griffin or Prodigy - all of these cost £200 and
upwards, but they all come with access to support areas which will allow you
to get hold of the firmware you require. Of these I'd recommend Twister (as
it's the most complete flasher), but I'm biased by being affiliated to the
    official UK distributor (www.gsm-solutions.co.uk).

China flashers you'll definately find on eBay, but personally I wouldn't let
one anywhere near my phones (I've got one here sat on a shelf - used it for
a couple of weeks, then bought a decent solution to fix the 5 phones it had
broken!). You'll find Prodigy clones on eBay, but they won't come with
support. If you do find Twister, Griffin or Prodigy on eBay, personally I
wouldn't buy them because as they're not supplied by an official reseller
you'll have a hard time getting them updated and in getting access to
    support areas etc.
