There is a bug in the dictionary when writing text messages.
When typing pressing 9(wxyz) then 8(tuv) X is displayed.
What should appear is X followed by t, u or v then a question mark should be displayed, as there is no word in the phone's dictionary.

Paul,
what phone are you using here?
I have an old skool, 7110e, 9 followed by 8 produces the word Yu, and my 7600 produces Wu.
A nice feature of the 7600, and probably new phones, under options is matches.
This offers close matches, and this offers:
Wu
Yu
Zu
9t
not really sure what you mean now!

I don't know what phone you're using, but that key combination on a 6310i,
6610, 7600 and others produces "Wu".
Also, please don't post in HTML.

Re: Nokia Phone Bug
So, it seems the majority do not have this "bug" you speak of, and it could
just be your handset?
What is the software/firmware on your handset? Type *#0000# to find out.
Maybe you need an upgrade of software/firmware?

I suspect that it's more likely to be an obscure language pack (PPM) that's
been loaded onto the phone (shouldn't be, because I believe they all have
English T9 input).
