Hi,
Can someone please explain to me exactly how the connection settings work.
If I go into Services from the main menu, and then into Settings, Connection
Settings
Select a 'Set' then go into 'Edit Active Service Settings' to configure it
for GPRS then OK, fine.
If I then go into Messages from the main menu, Message Settings, E-Mail
Messages.
I have the same set of 'Settings Groups' but if I choose one of them, and
look at the GPRS settings for (say POP3 server) they are empty. Do I need to
duplicate the settings here, or does it still use the ones I entered from
the Services menu?
Also, can anyone tell me how to delete 'Settings Sets' that I no longer
require, and if it is possible to make/un-make them 'Read Only' some of the
settings I have downloaded from my network only allow me to View and not
Edit current settings.
Any help or pointers on this subject greatfully recieved. Doesn't seem to be
a lot about it in the manuals...)
Cheers,
ChrisM.
