Dku-5 3100 mostly not recognized by phone

I have a dku-5 cable for my nokia 3100 and a lot of times when I connect it
to the phone the phone says "not installed" or something like that.
But sometimes it recognizes it and then it will also work with PC-Suite from
Nokia.
My software is 5.02 and hardware rh-19.
Is it the phone ,the cable or what?
Does anyone had this problem/

PC Suite is not the best software to use, I have same prob with 7250. Try
Mobi M or OPM.

It looks like problem with DKU-5 cable drivers. To to reinstall the
drivers, using the latest ones from Nokia official website.
