6620 Memory Question

I just purchased the 6620 through AT&T and have 30 days to cancel and
return the phone. So far I love the phone but I have one complaint.
Nokia says the maximum memory I can install is only 128mb.

I recall earlier posts implying memory beyond Nokia's limit being
installed and used successfully? I'm hoping I can install more than
128mb in this phone... any help?

And it sees it as a 256mb card?

I noticed www.mobymemory.com claims their memory cards up to 1GB will
work with the 6600/6620. Is there a catch with this? If that's true
why would Nokia hurt themselves by saying the limit is 128mb?
