It was even better not a long time ago, now you have to register and it
seems to me there are less apps to download, but it's still free :-)

I registered with fake details and logged in immediately. that was easy, and
afaik they're all good apps and games, however I don't know what is the
"best of" to compare them against. I'm having fun, there is far more there
to dl than my phone can carry.
I went to doom9 and wap dl'ed 2mbs of themes...... with my carrier that's
$400... **** **** ****, damn new phones.

All files are uploaded from Mediaplace IRC channel, and updated daily.
I started this site for fun, and for users in Croatia who dont know how to use MiRC, it have become a much bigger than that. I did have to move to another server with daily bandwith over 4 Gb, so i have to make some comercial modifications like that adds on which you have to click before downloads and similar adjustments.
I agree that site can be slow and design is not nice but I don't agree that it is a lame site.

Though, we don't develop JAVA applications, we can suggest to have a
look at Oxygen Phone Manager II for Symbian OS phones (
http://www.opm-2.com/symbian/ )- muti-functional software for Symbian
OS phones management. Using our program, you can manage images and
polyphonic tones (read, write, create new, delete unwanted), phonebook
(read, write, create new, delete unwanter, synchronize with Outlook,
Lotus Notes, Excel, export to MS Word, Plain-Text and HTML format),
Calendar (Read, Write, create new, delete unwanted, synchronize with
MS Outlook) and To-Do list, view battery charge and signal level, IMEI
number, software and firmware revision. Also you can send SMS messages
from our program via phone, read your phone's messages and save them
locally on disk.
You can download the latest trial version here:
http://www.opm-2.com/download/symbianopm.zip
If you have any questions and/or suggestions, concerning our
program, feel free to post them on our official forum
http://www.opm-2.com/forum/
