Why won't 6600play midi files as ringtones?

I am new to the 6600. I can't get it to ring with midi tones even though
they play when you select them.
Any ideas?

I guess the question has been asked before but I have tried to search the
newsgroup and couldn't find the answer.

they need to be put in the digital sounds folder in the gallery.
