I'm inputting phone numbers to my Nokia 6600 and I haven't been able
to figure out how to create a 3 second pause. My old Samsung 8500 had
a way to do it but I'm not finding it anywhere in the manual for the
    6600.

I want call my home voicemail box and have the password keyed in
automatically after the call is connected, So i think I need a 3 or
six second pause before the password is entered. Any ideas?

I have synched (sync-ed? Synced?) my phone to my laptop and know how
to enter numbers that way, in case there's a character that I can't
find on the phone but could enter from my laptop keyboard...

If there is no pause character, is there another way around it? Can
you entrain two numbers so that one calls the other after a pickup? Is
there some workaround so I don't have to key in my password every
    time?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

    Sincerely

    Mark Savage

On a Nokia, press the * key repeatedly until you see a "P". Kinda like pressing
the 3 key 3 times to get the "F".

This equates to a 2 second pause.
