Nokia 6600 - changing how names displayed?

I wonder if you can help me.

I have a Nokia 6600 and I now have all my contact information entered into
the correct fields in contacts.
When I receive a text from someone in my contacts it displays their surname
first and their forename last.

Is there anyway I can make the phone show the forename first and the surname
last?

I know this is only a small problem and I can live with it if I have to.
However, I would like, if possible, to have the forename shown before the
surname.

Anyone know how to fix this?

I hope you can help.

Open Contacts
Choose Options/Settings
Change "Name display" to "First name first"

I had already done that but it didn't do what I want.

Say for instance I get a call or text from Fred Smith, it displays the text
as being from Smith Fred, I want it to display the text message as being
from Fred Smith. It displays it how I want it to in the contacts itself.
Any idea's anyone?

Ahh, the 7610 does this as well.

The only workaround is to store the whole name under "first name" in
contacts.
