I am thinking of getting a 7600 on 3pay but only if they can be unlocked to
any network. Does anyone know if this is possible, as I have heard that the
7600 is impossible to unlock. But I dont believe it.

It's easily unlocked, but you would be well advised to have the phone
factory reset to re-enable the ability to lock onto a 2.5G network. If you
don't do this and wander into an area that has a 3G service for the network
whose SIM you have in your phone, you'll find it nigh on impossible to use
the phone.

I joined the forum at http://unlockme.co.uk and they sorted me out an unlock
code very quickly.
My 7600 was on Three-Pay (recent bargain at CPW) but i now use it on both
Virgin and O2.
Neither Virgin or O2 currently have 3G services so no need for the factory
reset either (yet!).

If you are familier with unlocking and reloading factory setting it works well and yes its a bargain at CPW - but its a girls phone - really take a long hard look at whether you really want this phone. OK the functions are some of the best but the UI and the design fits well in a handbag!!!!!!! get an QD its better and just a cheap!
