I've just got the LG8120 and it says it plays mp3s. I'm trying to drag and
drop mp3 files into it - it that possible?
I connect it to my computer via a USB cable - when I highlight CONNECT from
the LG Phone Manager application it says "Fail to connect to the mobile
handset, Please check the COM port and connect in idle screen. So I go
through the COM ports from 3 - 8 and the same error message.
    Any advice please?

I had exactly the same problem that was driving me mad!
Eventually realised that you have to install the driver that enables the COM
port - after you have done this, when you try to connect, you will note that
a number of the COM no.s have an asterix * next to them - select one of
these and you get a connectrion!
Sorry I can't give you the exact info on how to do this, as I haven't got my
    lap top with me.
    Cheers, John.

    Thanks it worked eventually.
How would I download an mp3 from my PC to the phone?
It'll play songs and upload from the phone to PC but can I download?
