Provided it has 1900 whatever they are called, no reason it wouldn't work.

But IMO you really should get a phone with 850/900/1900 at least, or
preferably a quad band, which Nokia no doubt will release "real soon now"
(but don't hold your breath!). Motorola & Palm Treo are quad band.
