I have about 4 or 5 3310 & 3315's laying about on my desk that people have
given me. They all seem to have a similiar problem with turning on. They
only seem to turn on when they want to!! I'm assuming this would be a common
ageing fault with these phones and is there a possible relatively easy fix??
I'm pretty handy with a very fine soldering tip and have replaced dislodged
switches in the past, but am thinking it maybe more than the switch in these
cases as the switches seem fine. (I think!) Can I test these switches via a
multimeter as would a normal switch for continuity? (they seem to have four
contact points I think)
(what else, could software flashing possibly help in these situations?)
I would love to repair these phones if possible and give them away to some
needy people if possible.
