I wouldn't think so, to "boost" the signal you'd have to add energy to the
signal and that doesn't create itself in a passive way. If they can do that
then they solved the world's energy problem Or you'd have to aim the
signal more in one direction to boost it there, but then you'll lose it in
the other direction which would make your phone direction sensitive.
Doesn't sound handy plus that it takes very very precise placing of such a
device, unlikely to happen with stickers like these.

It's more likely these things do the same as those funny flash light
stickers; they consume broadcasted energy making the phone need to
broadcast stronger to get the same or less signal in the air, which drains
    the battery faster.

Something like this featured in a "Watchdog" (TV programme) test in the UK
and did very little or nothing. The presenter then went on to make an
Antenna out of wire and tinfoil which was more effective, but not practical.

I have been trying to find out how to make an antenna for a mobile phone.
I have made home made antenna's for citizen band radio before. I live in
    an area where
I can just get a signal if the phone is held in exactly the right spot,
    I have multiple
phones and would plan to install a dipole with reflecter to gather enough
    signal.

Does anyone know of details about dimensions/instructions, or even a
    web site??
    Thanks

Yes. They stick to the back of your phone.

    Other than that, no.

    Perhaps http://www.seattlewireless.net/index...ngYagiAntennas

Google lists a lot of sites about yagi-antennas.

If you turn your 6600 upside down, does it become a 0099?
