For PC Suite, in Synchronization advanced tab, there is SyncML username
/ password. I don't enter these value and I can still sync. I wonder
what are these values used for ? It is not explain in help. THanks.

Its when you register online with your service provider to sync with there
web site. i.e if your on orange or O2 you can now save your
contact/calendars/memos etc from your phone and back again on there website,
you need to register 1st.

Additional explanation
User name and password are used to authorize your phone. Normally, you don't need it when syncing locally, just remotely (over-the-air)
