    If it's under warranty take it to an official Service Centre. If not you
    might find it cheaper to use one of the unlockers services - or if you fancy
    splashing out you could always buy the kit to do it yourself.

    Yes, we can upgrade the firmware of nearly all Nokia handsets (6630 is the
    exception at the moment). But if the phone's under warranty you'd be better
    off using an official service centre.

    We charge 8 plus postage (Special Delivery is 4.05 which we insist on
    using for security). Turnaround on Nokia's is about four hours at the
    moment (wish I could say the same for Ericssons).

    I wouldn't put any store in Special Delivery being secure. The Royal Mail
    lost my 6600 for 7 weeks on its way back from a Nokia Service Centre before
    finally declaring it 'untraceable'. Now they won't even pay for it as the
    sender didn't use the 'right insurance'. Laugh! Probably not.
