6310i Contacts with main- and extension numer

Hi all



I often call colleagues who sit on an extension number. I then dial the main
number; wait for the tone and then dial the extension.



I wish to enter these persons in my contact on my 6310i.



It does not work if I specify the main number and the extension in one long
number and I haven't figured out how to insert wait commands in the number
(in the good old modem days you would put in the , or a w character to
insert a short pause in the dialling between the main and the extension
number).



Does anyone have a solution?

Insert a P using the * or # key, Can't remember. I use this for calling
card services.

Press the * key 3 times to get a P. Each P gives 1 second or so pause so
depending on the system you're accessing you may need more than one.
