I've had a 9290 for 2 years. It's starting to die (dropping it about
    1000 times hasn't helped it's lifespan) and I'm hoping to buy a 9500.
Street prices have finally dropped to my budget, but before I make the
purchase, I'll make one more appeal.

I use e-mail, office and the fax on my 9290, and expect that the 9500
with wifi and extra memory will be even better. I haven't seen too
many postings on the 9500, so one last time:

Is everyone out there with a 9500 happy with it?

    Thanks

    Alan

    Main gripes are, apparently:
    - no ***** checker
    - no vibrate
    - no voice dial
    - need to have 4.51 firmware
    - catch gets loose easily
    - calling from contacts takes a while if you have lots

    check www.9500communicator.com/forum

    Re: 9500

whereas I might agree with my learned colleague ...I'm well pleased with
    mine

better reception in bad areas, the bluetooth is very handy...one big problem
I have..and would like any help if I'mmissing something is ....when you use
teh name search from teh phone front instead of inside..it lists all numbers
for contact but WITHOUT any indication what is what..ie ..a contact may have
4 numbers ..home, mobile, business and fax ...only the mobile is
obvious..all others are listed and could be any...my 9210 wouls at least
    show home, business etc
