I am getting conflicting info as to if the 3230 uses dual voltage RS
MMC or not. Anyone tried to use a normal RS MMC? Anyone tried 1G? (only
    512MB supported apparently)

    Many Thanks

3230 RS MMC DV or not?

As per this phone's manual, Nokia 3230 uses dual voltage RS MMC cards:

"Use only compatible MultiMediaCard (MMC) with this device. The compatible
    MMC for your

phone is Reduced Size Dual Voltage MultiMediaCard. Other memory cards, such
    as Secure

Digital (SD) cards, do not fit in the MMC card slot and are not compatible
    with this device.

Using an incompatible memory card may damage the memory card as well as the
    device, and

data stored on the incompatible card may be corrupted."

You can download Nokia 3230 manual here:
    http://nds1.nokia.com/phones/files/g...3230_UG_en.pdf ( ~2.5
Mb ) , page 162, 'Memory card' chapter.
