I'm having trouble installing IRDA adapter on a Windows 2000 system. I
read the instructions, tried everything I could think of, but it won't
work.

The unit is detected when I plug it in (also, the LED turns on). The
driver is in C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\stusb2ir.sys

The first error is reported after completing the installation process:
"An error occurred during the installation of the device. The system
cannot find the file specified."
Device Manager shows the device (SigmaTel USB 2.0 IrDA Bridge) with an
exclamation mark.
Its details say
"The device is not configure correctly. (Code 1)
To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver."

What else can I do to make it work? Or should I just assume that no
such adapter will work in my current configuration (it is the second
adapter I tried, same errors before).
The other IR receiver is in PCI tuner card, but I suppose this
shouldn't interfere.
