I have Nokia 6230i, the Intex Irda adapter and Nokia PC suite 6.6.16. The
problem is that the transfer is very slow. Dos anybody know if this can be
solved, and how?
Thanks in advance,
Nesha

1) Does you PC have a SIR or a FIR IR-port. Most new laptops have FIR,
but stationary PC were you can configure one COM-port as IR has SIR.
2) You can't use windows suggested driver for the phone when it is
discoverred. Thar driver has max 19200 bps. You need to use Nokia's
own driver to get 4 Mbps IR speed (max, with FIR). SIR has max 19200

What speed does the taskbar tray icon say you are connected at? What IR
adapter type do you have in the WIndows Device Manager, and what transceiver
type is set in the advanced properties for that device?
